Inspired by...Frogs And A New Card Sketch

Hello everyone.  Today starts a New Challenge over at Inspired by...#IB388. This week it's Frogs so fun. We also have colors for Inspiration and a New Card Sketch.

Let's Get Started:

I think you can probably tell what Inspired Me? The Frogs, colors of green, and the card sketch.  I chose to use a frog die from Lawn Fawn called Tiny Gift Box Frog Add-On. I cut it out with green cardstock and white cardstock.  I used my Copic Markers to color my frog to make it greener and to color the cheeks, and crown too.  I put my frog together using liquid glue and because this frog is usually to make a box I think it's still cute for a card.

Next, I cut some pattern papers from a older Simon Says Stamp kit. I used the stamp set from that kit called Toadally Unfrogettable for the sentiment that was stamped on white cardstock and VersaFine Clair ink in Nocturne. I cut my sentiment with my paper trimmer. I also used the stamp set for the Lily Pad Flower, also colored with Copic markers and fussy cut. Lastly, I added some cute clay embellishments f from Trinity Stamps called Lily Pad Leap.  I love how this card came out.  Loving the greens as those are my favorite and I love frogs.

{BYSHC} Card Sketch 69 Holiday Card

Hello I have another card to share for {BYSHC} Card Sketch 69. Isn't this card sketch so much fun?? I love the strip and 2 circles.

Let's Get Started:

Since Newton's Nook Designs is our sponsor this month I whipped a fun and easy Holiday card. I used the Cup of Cocoa Stamp set. I stamped this cup image with Memento Tuxedo black ink and colored with my Copic Markers.  I then fussy cut it out.  I used pattern papers and colored cardstock from my stash as well as a Silver Love From Lizzi Sticker Peel off Strip for the strip on the sketch. So much fun!

Next, My sentiment was stamped in green ink and punched out with a circle punch.  I then glued everything to a white A2 card base 4 1/4 x 5 1/2.  I hope you join us this month as we are getting close to halfway to Christmas.

Inspired By...Vases And A New Card Sketch!

Hello everyone.  Happy May, we have a New Challenge for Inspired by...Blog #IB387 and this week it's Vases and a New fun card sketch.

Let's Get started:

I was inspired by the vases and colors.  I even was inspired by the card sketch. I started out with some flowers, flower centers, and stems dies from My Monthly Hero from Hero Arts February 2026.  I used pink, and green cardstock from my stash.  I ink blended the greenery with some Hero Arts Ombre' Lime to Forever Green ink. I used a small blending brush to get a little darker green ink on my green stems and flower centers as I was trying to match the inspiration photo. I also ink blended my pink cardstock flowers with Hero Arts Azalea ink.

I used a Vase die from Spellbinders advent callendar that I cut out with pink cardstock and white cardstock.  On my white vase I doodled a little using a green Attenew marker I drew lines and colored a strip on top kinda like the vase in photo. I then cut it with my scissors and glued it to my pink vase. Next, I cut out dark blue cardstock and a white strip of white cardstock.  I glued everything to a green A2 top folding card base. I stamped my sentiment on white cardstock with Hero Hues Moss Green ink using my Monthly Hero stamp set and used the coordinating die to cut it out and a few extras to glue for dimension. I love how clean this card looks. I had fun with this challenge.
Now it's your turn!

It's a nice and easy card sketch perfect to mass product and batch lots of cards. I chose pattern paper from my stash that was given to me.  I also used Ephemera from Simple Stories Hello December to match.

I used a gold pinstripe sticker from Love From Lizi and stamped a sentiment in gold ink from Unity Stamps Poinsettia Comfort.  I used a round paper punch to punch out my sentiment.  All was glued to a white A2 card base.  I hope you join us this month. I can't wait to see your cards.

Let's Get Started:

I chose to use the New Bake Me A Cake 6x6 Stencil. I love this stencil as it also has a sentiment.  This cake looked Mermaid to me and it is Mermay right? On white cardstock I used Catherine Pooler Queen For A Day, All That Jazz, and Lemon Grass minis inks. I then cut my background to 4 1/4 x 5 1/2.

I wanted to do something different so I found some vellum kind of ripped and placed it over my sentiment and stapled it with my Tim Holtz tiny attacher.  I placed some fun foam in the back of my panel and glued it to a matching A2 card base.  I added some Opaque Iridescent card bling from A Colorful Life Designs to match, I love this card bling it looks purple in the light too.  And that finishes my card. I had so much fun making this card and I have more to share all month long.  Follow me here on my blog.

Inspired by...Clothes Pins And New Card Sketch

Hello everyone.  I'm so excited for this weeks challenge at Inspired by...Blog #IB386. This weeks theme is Clothes Pins and There is a New Card Sketch too. I hope you join us it's so much fun to see what you make.

I do own some clothes pins but where they are? I can't remember where I have them in my craft room LOL. Oh well the show must go on!  So, anywhoo I was inspired by the blue, pink, greens, and reds in the inspiration photo as well as the roses. I couldn't think of a small roses stencil in my stash but I did have this MFT Stencil Spring Flowers. You know I love to stencil. On blue cardstock 85 lbs. I used Catherine Poolers Minis inks in Rose Petals, Sea Foam, and Stone Blue.  My rose petals ink looks purple but my intentions were pink LOL. Next, I cut my stenciled background to 4 1/4 x 5 1/2.

I used some ephemera from an Tim Holtz Idea-logy Pack called Palette. Lots of pretties memorabilia in that pack.  I grabbed these roses, and a lacy ephemera strip. The sentiment is from a  digital EZ Cardmaking kit by LV Handcrafted called Smiling Florals. You can Use VONMARIEDESIGN to save. I also cut my sentiment strip with a Universal sentiments die available at Not 2 Shabby Shop.  Everything was glued to a A2 top folding card base 4 1/4 x 5 1/2.  That finishes my card I had so much fun making it.
I bet I'll find those clothes pins I was looking for.

Inspired By... April Showers May Flowers And A New Card Sketch

Hello everyone.  We have a New Inspired by...Challenge #IB385 and this week it's April Showers May Flowers.  So fun and a New card Sketch. I hope you join us! You have about 1 week.

Let's Get Started:

Here's how I was inspired: I love the colors, Umbrella theme, and card sketch.

I chose to use a  C.C. Designs stamp called Umbrella Swissie it's a retired stamp, but is one of my favorites. I stamped her with Memento Tuxedo Black ink on white cardstock 110 pounds.  I colored her with Copic markers and OLO Markers. I then fussy cut her out. I also cut out some pattern paper from Lawn Fawn that looked like rain to me.  I cut it like the card sketch.

I stamped a sentiment from Technique Junkies Rain sentiments stamp set over my pattern paper with Versafine Onyx ink.  I glued my sentiment and girl to a A2 card panel 4 x 4/4 x 5 1/2 an then to a white top folding matching card base.  I used a gray marker to draw ground for my girl and used a white gel pen for some white pen accents.  I love my card I think its clean and simple.  I like this card sketch for CAS.
